Mandatory Reporting of Vulnerable Adult Victims
Mandatory Reporting of Vulnerable Adult Victims
Vulnerable adults, including the elderly or disabled, can be targets of sexual violence and other forms of abuse. RAINN is committed to protecting vulnerable adult victims of sexual assault and to publicizing the resources available to help meet the needs of adult victims of abuse.
Please visit RAINN's Mandatory Reporting Database for in-depth information regarding each state's laws, including who is required to report, standards of knowledge, definitions of a victim, to whom the report must be made, information required in the report, and regulations regarding timing and other procedures.
