Lead Web Producer
The Lead Web Producer works under the VP of Communications to manage the design and development of RAINN's online presence through its web site, MySpace profile, e-newsletters, and micro-sites; also produces print and multimedia/video content. This is a full-time, on-site position at RAINN's Washington, DC offices.
Internship Positions
Web/Graphic Design Internship
The Design intern assists in the organization’s online presence, including website, MySpace profile, web banners and promotional materials. He/She will assist in the design and development of marketing campaigns and will work with the VP of Communications and IT Team to ensure consistency in RAINN’s brand for all web-based and printed materials.

Community/Volunteer Outreach Internship
RAINN is seeking a Volunteer/Community Outreach Intern for the spring and summer 2008 semesters. College students with a commitment to ending sexual violence and helping victims of sexual assault are encouraged to apply. Applicable majors include, but are not limited to: Women's Studies, Sociology, English, Nonprofit Management, Communications and Journalism.
Spring/Summer 2008 Development Internship
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as a point of contact for fundraising prospects
- Research foundations, corporations and major donor prospects
- Help maintain database
- Assist in the fulfillment and shipping of merchandise orders
- Perform general administrative duties to assist RAINN staff
- Process donations
- Develop innovative ideas for how to best engage potential and existing donors
Spring/Summer 2008 Communications Internship
RAINN is seeking communications interns to work with the Marketing Coordinator and Public Relations Manager under the Vice President of Communications. College students with a Communications, Public Relations, or English major, or an interest in the issue of sexual assault are encouraged to apply.
Spring/Summer 2008 Policy Research Internship
The Policy Research Intern will work under the supervision of RAINN's Policy Director to help advance RAINN's anti-sexual assault policy agenda.
This is a part-time, unpaid, volunteer position, on-site at RAINN's offices in northwest Washington, DC.
Online Hotline Volunteer Support Internship
The Online Hotline Volunteer Support Intern will work closely with the National Training and Research Director and the National Volunteer Coordinator on a number of tasks that involve RAINN's new National Sexual Assault Online Hotline.
